Western New York Romance Writers (WNYRW) is a non-profit organization affiliated with Romance Writers of America. Our goal is to promote excellence in romantic fiction, to help writers become published and establish careers in their writing field, and to provide continuing support for writers within the romance publishing industry.

January 21st – “Writer’s Bootcamp Redux” workshop with writing exercises and tips about what editors are looking for

February 18th – Ken Page, volunteer firefighter with Big Tree firehouse, Q&A
March 17th — Nancy Kress, bestselling author of 26 sci-fi, fantasy, and other books. Nancy has won the two highest awards in her genre, the Hugo and Nebula awards, multiple times. Nancy will be speaking from her writing book Beginnings, Middles and Ends.
April 21st — Jason Mollica, advertising and marketing expert, Q&A on using social media as an author
May 19th — OPEN HOUSE – 11-1, St. Joseph’s Hospital Community Room. Come chat with members, have some food, and see what we’re all about!
June 16th – Beth Andrews, award-winning author for Harlequin Superromance- Writing Hard-To-Write Characters – The Easy Way!
